In our pursuit of family fun, we decided to purchase a zip line for the kids. With the incredibly nice North Carolina weather that we have been experiencing, we were able to install the zip line on Saturday. Needless to say, it was a huge hit - with the adults as well as the kids! 
The only injury incurred was during set-up when the handle swung out and hit Emma in the eye. The result? A black eye, of course!

WOW you guys have come a long way from where PD and I used to be. The last time we installed a zip-line I nearly killed myself climbing about 20 ft high in the tree and we used the garden tractor to tighten the line. This is probably a better idea...
The zip we bought has a 75 ft line. I am looking into alternate locations to go big (longer). I am also looking into some sort of soft stop.
So far no major injuries.
